So I love Jonathan Rhys Meyers (and found this picture on the internet so that I can drool over him a bit). I decided this after watching August Rush the other day. Here are some reasons why:
1. He's hot. And we all know that's a good reason to love someone, ha.
2. He has a real Irish accent, being raised in Ireland and all. That adds to the hot factor.
3. He knows how to sing and play the guitar and keyboards in real life, too.
4. I could listen to the couple of songs he does on August Rush over and over. In fact, I bought the soundtrack yesterday. I never buy soundtracks.
5. He's tall, dark and handsome... and even though it's a bit of a cliché, I tend to go for that.
Maybe if I met him I'd find that there's nothing past a physical attraction, but who knows... maybe he's also incredibly smart, witty and giving to go along with his attractive smile and gorgeous eyes. I'd let the man take me to dinner.
So, now let's get back to reality... tonight is the season finale of my favorite show presently on TV: LOST. Ok, so LOST isn't reality, but it's real that I watch it every week. Love, love, love this show. I'm trying to prepare myself to maybe get a few answers in the 2-hour episode as well as to be left in suspense in some way. I love that the 5th season won't start again for MONTHS. I guess that's how they keep you coming back.
Diving more into real reality, I actually don't have a lot on my mind right now. I'm looking forward to going shopping in Gatlinburg with my mom and sister this weekend. It also kicks off a series of my vacations. I'll soon be off to Boston, and then Florida with the fam, and then maybe DC, and then Memphis for the DMB concert, and then maybe Chicago. I'm still working on the details to see if DC and Chicago will happen. I promise I'm not unbelievably rich and go flying around all the time. I just have friends in a lot of places which = free place to stay. And I have tons of air miles to cash in, making the flights more affordable. And I save money so that I can do stuff like this. I'll probably spend more this summer than I originally intended, but I figure that now is the time in my life to do stuff like this. I could meet the love of my life at any time, and that will change being able to jump up and go places whenever, especially since some of the friends I'll stay with are guys, and boyfriends tend to not like that. :)
I'm going to try to make myself get to a 5:30am spin class tomorrow. With my travels these next two weekends, my running schedule is getting seriously thrown off. I am going to try to stay on top of keeping in shape these next 2 weeks. I did run 8 miles yesterday, which is more than I usually do mid-week. But hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, right?
Needless to say, check back tomorrow to see if I get my butt out of bed.
