So you know you're a runner when you have to give a urine sample at the doctor's office and you feel really proud when the nurse tells you it's the clearest urine she's seen lately. (Yep, I went there. I'm talking about my urine.) Don't tell me you fellow runners don't all keep an eye on things each time you go to the restroom. I find it's hard to keep ahead sometimes on the hydration, so I'm always pleased with myself when I know I'm doing a good job.
Granted, I'm still not running a ton. I'm managing to get a good sweat going most days of the week since I'm using the Shred DVD pretty regularly. I still only got 2 runs in last week even though I was aiming to bump it up to three. I'm trying again this week and started today with a 25 minute run in which I covered 2.5 miles. I was pretty pleased. It's getting a little easier each time I run. I've got 10-12 more scheduled runs on the post-injury plan I'm following, so before I know it I should be ready to start gradually building mileage instead of running by time.
I still owe you more pictures of the rest of the work I did on my race scrapbook. I'll get those up on here soon!

You're doing great with the running, Melanie! I think you are being really smart taking it easy coming back Don't worry-you will definitely get back to where you were before!
I went for my first one mile run today. I still have some lingering pain-not sure if that's normal? Anyway, I will also take it slow just so I don't find myself with another stress fracture!
I"m glad you had so much fun at the ball. You guys looked so pretty! I loved your dress :-)
I've heard so many good things about Shred and think I'm finally going to pick up a copy for myself. I really need to improve my core after 3 months off.
Have a wonderful evening!!
YAY you are doing GREAT getting back into running and working out! You are taking your time to make sure you aren't coming back too fast and I KNOW thats a hard thing for runners. Keep being patient and it will totally pay off :)
Yay for clear pee!!!

Woohoo, clear urine rocks! Great job getting back into running and doing the Shred.
I think you're doing well getting back into the swing of working out/running. :)
And hooray for clear pee! I have to admit that I totally look and when it's not super clear, make sure to power-chug extra water that day. Ha ha ha!
