This is what I'm packing to go to Europe... minus Tucker of course (he just has to have constant attention). The only thing not in the picture is a pair of pants I need to get back from my mom (she was hemming them) and the jeans and shirt I plan to wear on the plane. The candle and plates at the end of the table are obviously not going either.
Some of that stuff will go in my carryon bag or purse. So all in all, I'm proud of myself for taking as little as possible but still making sure I have what I'll need. I like to be prepared.
I think it hit me this morning.... that "oh my gosh I am going to EUROPE in like 5 days!!!!" feeling. It came when Bennett called me and we spent 30 minutes going into detail about everything we were each packing and assigning things for each of us to carry (ie, he's bringing a power adaptor, I'm bringing some Woolite).
I can't wait. I got my legs waxed yesterday so that I won't have to shave. I need to paint my toenails so I can happily wear my Chacos. (I'm not really that vain, but I don't like to wear sandals without painted toes... it's my attempt at making my runner's feet somewhat pleasant to see naked). All I need to do is put everything in the bag, grab a couple of last minute items, and wrap up a few things around the house.
This is going to be one great adventure.
