What is one of your runner quirks? Share it with me in the comments, and I'll compile a list of all of them later.
One of mine? I have a tendency to keep a snack in my purse any time I know I'm going to be out and about for quite a while. Today's choice - a small sample box of Cheerios that I picked up at the expo in Chicago.
(Another quirk about me is that I don't drink milk.. thus, it's easy to eat a box of cereal out and about!)

I am just like you though...I don't drink milk either, and I usually carry a snack around too! Ha-Ha! :)
I didn't drink milk either until I got my little stress fracture "problem"! But I also love to eat cereal straight out of the box for a snack :)
Like you, I always carry a snack in my purse - usually a clif bar :)
no matter what the distance is of a race, I always have to eat gummy bears after a race....no matter how tired I am I always feel 110% after I eat them!!! :-)
I dont drink milk EITHER!!!!! :)
My quirk is Chocolate Milk. There are many studies out there that suggest Chocolate Milk is one of the best things to drink after a hard workout for a faster recovery. While that is part of the reason I drink it, I drink way too much for just recovery. It just tastes so good to me.
My quirk is wearing my compression socks around the house after a long run. My wife calls them my "knee high knits" and tells me I look like The Little Rascals. LOL.
This is a little late...I didn't think I had any quirks until the other day when I was going out for my run and I realized I have at least one!
I hate when I'm wearing a shirt that's a little loose on the bottom and it's chilly enough out that there's a draft coming up from the bottom of my shirt. Does that make sense or am I nutty? Anyway, there you have it :-)
