Anyone want to recommend some tunes I should check into? I have a pretty eclectic taste in music (both for regular listening and for running), so I'm open to any suggestions you may have.
I'm really into Kevin Rudolf right now. His new one I made it is a good song for listening and running! Also, although not a fan Kesha has good running songs.
Ok, get ready: - You Can Call Me Al (Paul Simon) - Young Forever (Jay-Z) - Day n' Nite (Kid Cudi) - Boondocks (Little Big Town) - Hey Soul Sister (Train) - Diva (Beyonce) - Feel It (Three 6 Mafia) - Your Love is My Drug (Ke$ha) - Ugly (Bubba Sparxxx) - Right Here (Brandy) - Creator (Santogold) - Hard & Rude Boy (Rihanna) - Not Afraid (Eminem) - 3 Peat (Lil Wayne) - What Was I Thinkin' (Dierks Bentley)
Also, you can download the Girl Talk mixed CD for free if you search for them online!
I've been listening to Shakira a lot lately, especially her song for the world cup: waka, waka (this time for Africa). I can't help but feel energized and want to get up and move! I haven't tried them as running songs yet though.
I run to a lot of random music myself - Foo Fighters, Cascada, Britney Spears, and even Phil Collins. One of the most empowering songs for me is "Feeling Stronger Everyday" by Chicago:)
