I know I moved in back in early July, but I just now got around to taking pictures of my new place. I thought I'd share a glimpse into my little piece of Nashville living. Some of the stuff I have is not really what I would have if I were decorating a place that I knew I'd stay in for years as opposed to this one where I have no idea how long I'll be here. Nonetheless, it's mostly my style for the time being. It works.
If you pay attention, you'll notice that Tucker followed me from room to room to get in on the photo action.
Here's my living room.
I love how there is the opening to see into the kitchen. It makes everything feel bigger, and I can still hear my computer or tv when I go in there.
Also, I purchased the coffee table and the chair recently through craigslist. I really didn't want to spend a ton of money on furniture for an apartment, and I got some great deals!
This shot was taken standing at the entrance into the apartment. Kitchen is to the left, and the hall is to the right.
My guest bedroom. I'm not in love with the curtains, but they were inexpensive and matched the bedding.
I totally had to have a spot for my medals, and I decided the entrance to the guest bedroom was best.
My bedroom. The only thing I don't like is that I don't have an overhead light in there, so I have to make do with lamps.
Another angle of my bedroom, looking out into the hall. Apparently, Tucker thought he heard something out there.
