Happy New Year!

I know I'm a little late in wishing you all a happy new year, but I spent the last week of the year out in Snowshoe, WV on a ski trip with 11 friends. I want to do a post about the trip and share a few pictures and stories of my skiing adventures, but I'm afraid it'll have to wait until I have more time.

I'm gearing up for my trip to Disney World to complete the Goofy Challenge. I'm not really nervous about the distance, but I am a little nervous about the quick turnover in between trips. I've been spending tonight doing laundry and trying to do most of my packing in hopes that tomorrow night will be a bit more chill... granted, I need to take my luggage and my cat to my parent's house and come back, so it won't exactly be a quiet night in.

My week on the ski trip was lovely... I came home feeling relaxed, refreshed and ready to start the new year. The only problem is that I came home a little tired, and after a busy day back at work after break and scurrying around tonight to get things done I just feel exhausted. I suppose it's not ideal to have two big trips back to back, but I'm having fun and that's what matters most, right? :)

Nonetheless, I'm ready to just get on the road again. I almost feel better on the trips than I do preparing for them.

I guess I really am starting the year off with a bang, right?

So back to the new year... 2010 was pretty good, but there were also some crappy parts. It's really nice to be able to say all that was so last year now. I'm really excited about 2011, and I had an excellent morning on Saturday as my friends and I sat around the cabin and shared our goals for the year to come. I'll do a post at some point on here about those, but I'm mostly just planning to continue to work on my 101 in 1001 items throughout the year.

Don't even ask about my running goals. I've got to get this Goofy Challenge behind me first.

I'm ready to his the streets of Disney!
