Becoming a Stepmom

When Adam and I get married this summer, I not only become a wife... I will also become a stepmom!

I've already been around his son a lot, and it's even more exciting to be around him now knowing that he will be a part of my life from now on.

He just turned 5 this past week, and we went to his birthday party with his family and friends from school this weekend.

It's interesting... I've always known that I want to be both a wife and a mom, but I never expected that it would in some ways happen all at once.  It's been a fun ride to get to know this kid and fall in love with him as I fell in love with his daddy!

I am just so thankful that he seems to love me back!

I never imagined before Adam and I got together that I would be a stepmom, but now that it's happening?  I'm pretty darn excited!
