Saying Yes to the Dress

I have decided on my wedding gown.

I didn't cry.  I didn't get some big overwhelming feeling.  I actually tried on quite a few that were gorgeous.

But this was the one where I looked in the mirror and said, "I feel like a bride."

I pretty much spent all day Saturday looking.  We had three appointments, and I tried on at least 10-12 dresses at each store.  I had a favorite at each store, but there was the one where I just knew.

I went back today to try it on one last time so I could be sure.

I haven't ordered it yet... I want to make some calls and determine who can order it for me for the best price.

I refuse to show it online in the off chance Adam decides to read my blog and just can't keep himself from looking, but if you really want to see it then let me know you're email and I'll send you a link.

I have also made a decisions on bridesmaids dresses!!!  This one isn't a secret, so here's the link:

We will order them in the Kelly Green!

It feels really good to have some of these big decisions out of the way.  There's still a lot to be done, but so far all is going well and coming together (knock on wood)!

YAY! Deciding on a wedding dress is so exciting. It's funny though, people act like you need to cry and get all worked up... I'm like, it's a dress. It's a really pretty, really expensive dress. And I really really really like it. But crying just isn't me :P
