The show occurred the Friday before Christmas, which made it sort of a fitting gift to ourselves for the holiday since we opted to not exchange any gifts between the two of us this year. My sister and her friend joined us, and some other friends of ours were in town for the show as well.
The show did not disappoint. Even though we'd already seen it twice (and once from the floor where we literally shook hands with Justin when he was on the middle stage), it was still awesome. As an added bonus, Garth Brooks came out and they sang "Friends in Low Places" together. EPIC.
After the show, we met up with some other dear friends who were able to come to town to visit and all spent the evening hanging out around downtown. We had SO much fun hitting up some honky tonks for a bit and then hanging out in Printer's Alley so that we could actually chat and hear each other. In the end, Adam and I didn't get to bed until 4am. We definitely felt it the next day, but nonetheless we were up early to have brunch with all of our friends before heading back home for a nap! We definitely aren't getting any younger! Regardless, it was such a fun time!
