We spent the first Friday night relaxing at home. On Saturday, the weather forecast was looking rough. We ran a few errands and went to play at the park before heading home to ride out the storms.
Later that night, everything cleared up so we went out to see the new Power Rangers movie. Confession: I was an avid watcher of the original Power Rangers tv show!
On Sunday, we went downtown to the Ryman Auditorium for their Community Day. Tennessee residents could do the regular tour for free and the backstage tour at a super discounted rate. Score. Little dude had never been inside, so he thought this was awesome.
I think this next photo really shows how awesome it is to live in Nashville. Only in Nashville do you find gospel music in the bar downtown on a Sunday morning.
We had lunch at Five Points Pizza before checking out some shops in East Nashville. Then we went to the Soda Parlor for ice cream and free arcade games.
During the week, we spent a lot of time at home. Adam and I still had to work, so Connor got to spend a time enjoying his toys, books, and video games as well as playing outside a ton with his friends.
We also managed to find an Easter Bunny!
On Saturday, the weather was kinda crappy again. We ran a few errands, hung around home, and had dinner with Nana and Papa.
On Sunday, it was beautiful, so we made our way to the Nashville Zoo for an afternoon of fun!
These weeks always go by too quickly, but we're so thankful for this quality time with our son. We had a great week and can't wait for him to be home a lot more than just a night or a weekend again when this summer rolls around!
